Over the edge

Singapore is hot. Singapore is also humid.  This evil combination frequently had me hanging on the edge during my visit. Provided you can get past the heat and humidity, Singapore is a thriving city with a large expat community that contributes to its vibrant nightlife. One of the most iconic hotels in the world, the Marina Bay Sands is truly a gem to behold and if you don't mind spending a $40 cover plus drinks, you can enjoy the rooftop bar to hang out to get a feel for the energy the city offers.
