Getting Old

I really didn't want to go out today in the pouring rain, but the afternoon appointment was an important one - breast screening - in the nearby town of Blairgowrie.  So I braved the lashing rain and drove along flooded roads in good time, sat for 10 minutes in the car as I was early and then dashed up the metal stairs to the screening centre - only to discover I was a WEEK too early!!!  I had misread the entry on my calendar:-)

The air was 50 shades of blue as I drove home again feeling a prize idiot:-)  Some days I really feel my age!

So it's more tulips from the garden, I'm afraid, and taken through the window, as there was no way I was going out in the rain again!  Just hope it's sunny next week at the same time:-)
