Will.I.Am Street

Just around the corner from the Consulate General of the Russian Federation is this one. Once the subject of a diplomatic wrangle when the late Leonard Brezhnev tried to have it shipped through diplomatic baggage for his own private collection at his summer retreat on the Black Sea coast.

Thankfully common sense prevailed and the priceless artefact remains in Edinburgh on public display for all to see. Except drivers; it's on that awkward one way section and not handy to get to at all. Much handier to get off your bus on Coates Crescent and wander through from Walker Street.

White pen on grey box.

Even the weather was positively Russian today; grey, cold, almost - er - Baltic.... Not conducive to good blips all this having to wipe the lens clean every 30 seconds...
