Huy aka Chalons du Bois

We have recently just finished watching a great BBC drama called The Missing. Admittedly it was tough viewing especially if you have a son who is five years old. The series is set in northern France but on further investigation we discovered that they actually filmed in Belgium and in particular a small town called Huy which is approximately one hour away from us. As the weather was beautiful today we decided to take a drive to discover a new area and we weren't disappointed. We immediately recognised so many places used in the series and the Grand Place is lovely. We also discovered a great park with sea lion shows, trains, trampolines and playgrounds so we will return one day!
