Friends?

These gulls were sharing a rather small space on a post at the docks today.  Maybe they are friends or mates.  They were not fighting as I've seen some do.  I rarely see two in this pose.  Please try it large.  When I did, I saw the bird in the foreground does not have his right foot flat on the top of the post.
