We are 'on the bow' and actually three weeks or so in, it isn't as bad as anticipated. When he concentrates he does really well, but the concentration fluctuates as is to be expected when you are five. He still prefers to pluck 'because it sounds better Mummy.' not just that but I suspect he finds it easier too.

Carys was worried about the reading assessment she had on Friday. She said she was one of the last to finish and didn't understand some of the words. I mentioned this to her teacher who said she didn't need to worry as she had done really well and said she would have a word. Carys came out of school much happier.
