Market Day

First day in the hospital today and it is certainly the least friendly hospital I have ever been to so not sure just how much work I will be doing. However today was Market Day in Belize and the amount of fresh produce available was absolutely outstanding and it was so cheap. It is mango season at the moment so I bought myself a load of those (as unfortunately the ones growing in the tree in y garden aren't quite ripe yet) so looking forward to filling up on fruit and veg later. Many of the fruit and veg stalls here are run my German Mennonites (like the American Amish) and it was really interesting to see them in contrast with the outgoing Belizeans.
