Guanacaste National Park

I spent today at the national park nearest to Belmopan. It is one of the smallest national parks in Belize but it was still amazing. There were beautiful viewing spots for birds and I saw lots (none of which I was able to identify) and some swimming platforms to swim on the Belize river (actually surprisingly chilly). I saw lots of lizards, birds, insects and one snake but most excitingly just as I was leaving I saw a jaguarundi which looks like a cross between a fox and a cat unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it but I thought the view down the Belize river was pretty amazing.
