Blue and Gold

Feeling very tired and jaded today after our escapade yesterday. Thankfully all worked out in the end. Both mum and I thank you all for your thoughtful words, little bits of advice and understanding. Alzheimer's is a long and tiring process which unfortunately will gradually get worse as time progresses.

So today just ended up being a stroll round the garden with the macro lens on board. With autumn in full swing there are just a few hardy flowers left, one being this lovely white otesospermum which continues to bloom with its pretty blue and gold centre. It is my shot for maymacromayhem challenge, thanks to Walking Wombat for starting this challenge.

The sky has been amazing with strong nor'west cloud formations rolling through, 26C at 2pm - yes it really was hot! I was still putting washing out on the line at 1pm, it was dry in no time, most unusual for an autumn day.

I'm taking it easy tonight as little sleep was had last night, I'll try to catch up over the next few days.
