Autumn Reflections

Mum and I had a quick trip into the city, we went like rockets through the mall so we would have time for some blipping on the way home - the plan worked well.

Stopping at the Groynes the lakes were tranquil with tiny ripples, autumn reflections and a patch of calm, lovely place for an amble or just to sit for a while on this lovely warm day in autumn.

Moving on we had lunch at our favourite café on the Main North road. Bacon and egg pie with a bowl of salad, citrus muffins sprinkled with icing sugar and drizzled with maple syrup and yoghurt on the side, coffee for mum and tea for me, it was divine!

And then it was back to reality with the good old grocery shop, thankfully the supermarket was quiet as we filled our trollies.

Thursday is a special day of the week, some time with mum which we both look forward to :)
