Pre-election Day

In East Dunbartonshire there is everything to play for as Lib Dem Jo Swinson faces up to the possibility of losing her seat to SNP candidate John Nicolson. Jo is a popular local person but there are forces at work in Scottish politics now that may see her defeated. It's too close to call. John is a strong candidate with a degree from Glasgow University, a Harvard scholarship, and is a professional journalist and broadcaster. 
As I walked from Westerton station I encountered a buzz of cameramen and reporting going on around the usually sleepy garden suburb.  This is  the current Business Editor of BBC News Kamal Ahmed.
