A sheep among the trees
Anne picked me up at 9.30am and we went to Munro's garden Centre for a bacon roll and a cup of tea. Anne has been working at the Hospice a lot over the last few weeks and we have nt bee able to catch up so it was nice to have a chat.
We had to have a look at the plants afterwards. They are well stocked at the moment especially with Summer Bedding but it's too early for me and I know I would lose them all so I did nt buy any. I did see some lovely azaleas with a mass of blooms and some unusual aquilegia so I might go back with Mike sometime.
The weather was nt too great again but Mike and myself took some sandwiches and a flask of tea to the point. We watched a group of sparrows having a wonderful bathtime in a big puddle. They were after our bread too and one nearly landed on the mirror so we tried to encourage them down again hoping for a close up shot. They were quick, too quick for the camera and abit shy so we'll try again another day. I did get one flying away.
The sun was trying so hard to come out and things began to brighten up so we drove over the hill and found these sheep among the trees. I really liked the curve in the tree and this sheep seemed curious to see us.
Back home and although it was still raining the sun is out and it's bright. The weather station has a big sun on it so I'm hopeful for a nice, dry day tomorrow :)
