Savage Beauty

I went to see the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A today. It's probably one of the best exhibitions I have ever been to. So many amazing examples of his work, from early student days, right up to his final collection, just before his untimely death in 2010.

No photography was allowed, and the many curators were vigilant at ensuring everyone knew this! This shot was the only one I managed to get when one of the curators was looking the other way. It's a small, but very accurate, imitation of his very famous Voss runway show from Spring/Summer 2001.

An absolutely brilliant exhibition... I'm so glad I've got tickets to go and see it again in June!
