a puddle
Not any ordinary puddle ……..... this one has a reflection of Helm Crag in it.
It rained most of yesterday and all morning today. With brighter weather this afternoon I went to Grasmere (in the car), walked through the village and up the side of Allan Bank (NT), snapping en route.
Highlights of the day ……
seeing a red squirrel moving quickly towards the grounds of Allan Bank - that's now on the list for a viisit
loads of birds in the garden this morning (in the rain), including 8 yellowhammers, 2 greenfinches, 2 great tits, 2 coal tits, a blackbird, a dunnock, a robin and more jackdaws than I could count
finding that the 2 hour restricted parking signs, that I moaned about on blip last year, have been removed.
