Today has been another beautiful day, the sun shone brightly and the wind was blowing a little in the afternoon. Now it is all calm again and not a cloud in sight. Today only reached 25c I think but it felt warmer. Yesterday it was 27c with cloud. It sure has been a wonderful Autumn so far and the temperatures have been very unseasonal. Hope we are not in for a bad winter!

I should have taken my library books back yesterday.. but forgot so had to return them today. After that I took a shot walk around the block to get some  more Autumn shots before all the leaves go.

Milford Sounds had a good shake this morning with a 5.1 earthquake. There seems to be a lot of quakes over the past couple of weeks, do hope this is the end of them.

Ode to Autumn
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells.
John Keats
