Sunday Washout

Spokes Ride day, and I decided to go down to the start on my bike. It wasn't raining heavily at that point, so if people turned up, I was willing to lead a short ride. At least then if it cleared up, then we could go for a longer ride, or head home.

We went to Craigies Farm Between Cramond Brig and Dalmeny.I had a nice coffee and scone. When we came out, it was pouring down, so we headed home. Ah well, 22 miles and a bit.

In the afternoon, the rain didn't ease off, so I watched the last stage of the Tour de Yorkshire and updated my small laptop for a trip next weekend.

Later on, it did dry up, so I managed to wipe down the chain and oil it for Monday's commute.
