Pink clematis

Rain on and off all day long today with the tropical low system due to arrive tomorrow.  I really hope the heavy rains and winds don't beat this to death before it gets to bloom!  

My aloe plant is looking more like an octopus these days.  :-)  With it being so dreich outside I did some baking today.  Nice fat brownies and raspberry muffins.

During a break in the rain I went outside with Peace, Spirit and the pouncing Neenah along with the napping Princess.

I did see a hummingbird with it's beautiful ruby throat today, but of course, as would luck would have it, I did not have my camera in hand.  :(
