Amaryllis

At least one of the buds got to bloom on this amaryllis before the arrival of the storm Ana.  

Today I spent baking again and with the threat of prolonged heavy rain and strong winds, I was outside taking in all my yard decor.  When Kent got home (early), he was out there making sure there were no branches etc that could cause damage.  I got to haul the cut branches back to the 'triangle' which is the area over the creek bridge by the woods.

Ready should we have flooding and/or power outages.  Hoping it will just be a long wet and boring weekend.
