Common Kestrel

A new bird has arrived but not one you really want to see around the very vulnerable Lapwing chicks. I could hear the chicks calling to their parents but obviously the parents were saying 'stay where you are and don't come out!' Which they dutifully did. I was sad not to see them but pleased not to witness this raptor not taking a bird meal. Not a good photo yet again but you can see the Kestrels sharp claws and its distinctive tapered wings. I will be back to the Wadi again later!
