Lapwing chick

Saw the Lapwing chicks as soon as I got to my Wadi, one was so much bigger and bolder than the other one, they both hid and resumed their positions as 'stones' after waiting for the all clear the bigger one toddled off into the deep grass, but this one moved only a little way out of his first hiding place and then into the open. This is how I got this photograph, I was very worried for his safety out in the open, but he was fine, so good is their camouflage, still small but able to look after himself, the size difference between siblings was a bit worrying though! I'll keep an eye on them.
