Higland Stream

Went for a short 11 mile walk in the HIghlands today with J and a friend from London.
Started off at the forest lodge at the top of Abernethy Forrest and walked around the entire forest, via the Ryvoan Pass.

Along the way we crossed a couple of small streams but half way around the came to a larger stream and some waterfalls.

Finished the walk and went to the RSPB Osprey centre at Lock Garten to see how the Ospreys we saw in April were doing.

They have managed to hatch 3 chicks that are doing well. EJ was on the nest looking after them while Odin was out fishing. Unfortunately he didn't return in the 90 minutes we were there.

Tried to get some nice photos but it was a bit difficult. Despite borrowing a fellow blippers 100-400mm lens, his 2x convertor and my 2x convertor I still couldn't get close enough. Also the focus wasn't easy to get especially as I was then shooting at f22.

This will be my entry into the weekend blip challenge for the word "STREAM"
