Stream in Coire an Lochain

Had a lie in today and went up to the Cairngorm to see if we could get to the top. You can either get the train up to the top and then pay for a guided walk from there or walk it up yourself. Not wanting to pay for the train up to the top and a guided walk we chose another shorter route to Coire an Lochain.

It was a nice walk and we had lunch at the Coire. We then noticed a few walkers making their way down from the ridge into the Coire. Steve wanted to go can walk up to the top but we decided to put it off for another day.

On the route back I took a few photos of the stream along the way.

On the way back to the cabin a plan was hatched to walk to the top of the Cairngorm along the ridge and down into the Coire we had just visited the next day. We could also then collect some spring water to go in the whisky at the tasting we had booked for the following day.
