Asparagus

I just love them. Asparagus season is short and should be enjoyed to the full. We have now all the local asparagus available and I bought today the local violet asparagus which can be eaten raw. Yes, it is fresh and juicy and can be eaten like any other vegetable raw with a dip and a glass of white wine as an appetizer. The magnum Villa Bucci 2004 will be a good companion for the bbq salmon afterwards too.

Ps: Slow day. Well deserved lie in this Saturday. Nice run in the sun after the late breakfast at noon. Catching up with leftovers and promises from work while listening to Jazz music all afternoon. Wining and dining now. Movie night later.
