Waiting for the starting gun

I don't know really what was going on here. We arrived in Perugia this morning and it was evident they were setting up for something and it turned out to be some sort of festival featuring both old cars for children, as per above, and full sized vintage cars. With the crowds and buzz that ensued, it all added to a very pleasant, albeit lightning visit, to this city.
