Country ramble

For relaxation, a ramble in the country is the perfect choice. Of course you can take to woodland walks where you will not see a sole except for the occasional dog walker.
But even country lanes are not taboo and can provide equally stirring landscapes.  Okay, if you are walking although you must be wary of traffic, though chances are there will be few cars or other vehicles.
If you are cycling or driving, then you need be equally wary, but the rewards are scenes like this.  Simply a country lane, lined with trees and a hedgerow, which in the past few weeks have sprung into life, shedding their wintry cloak, and blossoming into life with all manner of shades of green as summer foliage returns.
It’s all too easy to allow everyday scenes pass by without a second thought. But the practised camera eye will seek out everyday situations like this, in this instance not half a mile from home, and regard them in a fresh perspective.
