Green Fingers

It’s only a miniature rhododendron in our garden and it hasn’t flowered in two years.
But success. This year we have blooms.
Nothing like the famous rhododendron drives there are in the New Forest or at the nearby Hillier Arboretum, but I am just as proud of these three blooms, and the promise of a few more to come.
It’s in a sheltered spot in the garden and we have tended to leave it rather to fend for itself. So that’s why I am delighted to see it blossoming this year.

Green fingers? Scarcely — but I might just claim that.
