The Final

A long day starting with the qualifying sprint where you aimed to get into the A Final to compete for the medals. I managed to qualify second in my heat but then had over 3 hours to wait for the final.

Enjoyed both sprints but a delay in the finals whilst start times were allocated meant we were in danger of missing our restaurant reservation so had to leave before the results were published.

This young man was hurdling a ditch to get to his final control. The emit card on his wrist to record the control. A number of competitors, my husband included, complained about their visit to the control failing to record.
