North Norfolk Railway

I was awake at 8 and in Sheringham by 8.30 to pick up the anniversary card Jon sent me on 27th April, for our anniversary on 29th.....which never made it! Apparently the first class stamp was 11p short! Anyway, it had to be collected from the post office, so today was the day. It is a lovely card, and even though it is now 11 days late, it is still as special! From there I went to Cromer to buy some Iceland chinese for tea. I was home by 9.30am!

I fenced the bottom of the garden ready for my chickens, did some washing, and generally tidied our week's mess!

At 12 o'clock I decided that Henry had stayed in bed for long enough, and started to hoover. He surfaced a short while later, and once the housework was done, we went in to Sheringham. After a wander, browsing and dodging the 'tourists' (that's not us anymore!) we went back up to the North Norfolk Railway, where we enjoyed a cup of tea and a cloudy lemonade, and sat watching the world go by! The steam engine 'Black Prince' arrived a short while later, and this is the driver. Henry took the photo. I think he has captured him really well....even the pink of his eyes!

At 7.30pm Jon & Mollie arrived.......with my 3 youngest gold laced orpingtons!!! Yaaaaay!!
