Of land and sea

An action packed day today.
And all by chance
Cheekily blagged a place on boat safety crew for a Castle to Castle rowing race in the morning and got to enjoy the grit and determination of teams of rowers travelling from Beaumaris to Caernarfon along the Menai Straits.

A cloudy start to the day but by the end of the race, the sun had won through, the skies cleared and it was a stunning afternoon.

There followed the requisite drive out to find new unexplored areas of this place, and quite a few photos were taken

This one just makes me smile.
