Still going strong

As the first pulsatilla seed heads glisten in the late afternoon sun, their silvery feathers shining, there are still new flowers appearing on some plants.  This might be Pulsatilla montana from the relatively small, narrow petalled, dark flowers .... or it might be a garden hybrid!  No matter, it's a beauty whatever.
