KV Charmer, a phalaenopsis, looking into the the business part of the flower. Often called moth orchids, there is supposed to be some resemblance to a moth. It has been a day with some sunshsine, wind, and rain every couple of hours, some thunder and a brief power outage. Typical Kansas. It was difficult to get decent shots outside because of the wind. Hence the orchid.

I have to thank you all for your appreciation of the lark sparrow. One fine day, I may get a better picture of some birds. There are plenty about which you can hear all the time, but unfortunately Blipfoto does not accommoodate sound!
