My life, my lens

The forecast was looking gloomy so we decided to take the train to Verona for the day. When we arrived the rain was already coming down in buckets so we took a cab to the Verona Cathedral. It's a stunning building considering it was built in 1187. We then wound through the city dodging the puddles to the main market and then on to Juliet's balcony. The site was packed with tourists and it was hard to navigate around the courtyard with all the brollies. We didn't bother with the tradition of touching Juliet's boobs on the statue for good luck but looking at the shine on them many people had!

The rain was really coming down hard now so after having a quick look at the Verona Arena we dashed into a cafe for a coffee before catching the train back to Lake Garda.

The rain had stopped when we got back to the hotel so as it was our last night we picked a lovely romantic resturant overlooking the lake. Looking forward to our next stop!
