After a lazy morning we checked out and caught the train to Milan. The sunshine had returned so the journey through the countryside was very picturesque. 

On arrival at the hotel we got a free upgrade which was a lovely bonus and after dumping the bags we headed out to explore. We had a nice walk around the city centre enjoying the Italian sunshine and people watching.

This evening we had a lovely dinner at Savini in the Gallaria Vittorio Emanuele II. A lovely relaxing day.
