We must have had more rain than I realised. I drove through puddles to get to the gym this morning and in one section the water was across the road. 

It was a similar story later at White Moss where the river had flooded the footpath and picnic area. I was on my way to see if the bluebells were out in the woods but decided not to get my feet wet. I already had some photos which were more appropriate for the conditions including this bench  ........ usually a popular spot to sit and admire the scenery.
