rainbow falls

A wet start to the day but by 9 o’clock it was drying up so the birds got fed and the washing hung on the line. Can’t believe how much food the birds are getting through. It’s fun watching them, especially the coal tits who are really fussy about their seed and chuck a load out of the feeders before they find what they want. No problem though, as the ground feeding birds eat it. 


Still dry after lunch ……. oh, what lunch …… I’m supposed to be dieting but with a roast dinner tonight I thought it best to skip a meal.  Took a walk through Stock Ghyll expecting to come back with some flower or foliage shots. Then started playing with some slow shutter speed, hand held, shots of the falls. I was very surprised to get a blipable image.
