Game Piece

Before checking out of our hotel I looked out of the window and saw this amazing courtyard at the back of County Hall on the South Bank, and there was an occasional pedestrian crossing the courtyard, and with the large square patterns in the paving, it almost looked like a game board, and the pedestrians are pieces being moved around the board by invisible hands.
