Swanning around

These swans on the boating lake in Exmouth are waiting to be taken for a ride.  Unfortunately I was told that there are plans to upgrade this area and create a new leisure zone and water-sports centre.  I do hope they can keep some of this old fashioned charm and somehow incorporate these retro swan peddle boats on their 1946 boating lake.  There is also a model railway and carriage-café which is just visible to the rear of the photo and a rare ten-and-a-quarter-inch gauge rail-track in this area.

From viewing the latest plans it doesn't look good for these businesses.
