Beaumaris Eye

Completely wind-blown today with rain most of the day. Because of that was getting a bit nervous as tomorrow I am due to sail with friend Mark on a chartered Sigma 38 yacht from Port Dinorwic to Holyhead - and passing over the quite scary Caernarfon Bar.

Wind was gusting Force 6 or 7 today, meaning my planned ride today on the Beaumaris Eye to aerially blip the town and Straits was cancelled. The ride as well as the tourist boat trips up to Puffin Island were all off.

Had to make do with a couple of short wet walks and a watch of the Jubilee Regatta. Will OD on fresh air and ozone tomorrow. Thankfully the weather seems to be easing (for Monday at least!)
