Holyhead Express

After yesterday's storms, I can't quite believe that I am sat on the bow of a Sigma 38 yacht in sunshine and light winds limping very slowly towards South Stack lighthouse (well not literally) and then onwards to Holyhead.

May well replace this image if the lighthouse is passed close by and I can get a good shot. Nice pint beckons in Holyhead Marina followed by dash back to Beaumaris ( and maybe a few more).

Rest of the crew are carrying on to Ireland tomorrow. Quite jealous but too much work on.

Postscript: Captains Log from skipper Mark on Tuesday reports that a day later the boat is still in Holyhead after a day of terrible weather.
