Another castle

Like the one in Bodrum Turkey this was also built by the Knights of St John. However this is in Greece on Kos.

The guide book suggested by doing so much fighting they kept the hospital busy.

This is much smaller and does not have high towers. You can see the original Keep, which was later enlarged.

Most of the archeological site here were open and free and covered with knee to chest high grasses and wild flowers
