Dedication

After a couple of short sharp showers this morning we took the car up the hillside so that we could look down on the Roches we blipped yesterday.   We stopped at this viewpoint on the way and had quite a big shock at the strength of the wind on the open moorland.  It isn't the view we had intended but as I was almost blown off my feet (and I'm no lightweight) and had to cling on to a concrete post with one hand while being battered in the face by a lens cap on a chord, and still managed to take the picture with the other hand it has to be our "picture of the day".   Thankfully we are in a very sheltered spot as the wind has been gale force all day but the sun is still shining and we are told it will be calmer tomorrow.
