Bonded
'Thought I'd stumbled across a body!' he said, as I shot upright from a recumbent position having been totally immersed in the photography! Even the dogs let me down on the alert!!!! Dogs with jobs...hmmmmm - think I may need to renew their contract! However after capturing Tilly who was about to dismember this beautiful collie all was good. I was in a field of orchids, cowslips, sunshine and it was lovely!
After an incredibly odd start to the day , too convoluted to go into but which lasted through the entire morning I took the dogs on a walk to get out of the house!
These are Marsh Fritillaries mating on a leaf. All good you might think but I suppose when a camera gets into the bedroom ...... they must have hated me :/!! (or not, depending ;). On a path on the floor, how I didn't miss them, walking at less then a snail's pace but...really I would never have known they were there unless I was scouring the ground. Very tiny and very well disguised with the surrounding vegetation.
I've rotated this as it looked weird as it was, and gardened, and talked to them. Oh yes I did!!! 'Too much time on her hands', is what I hear you say! Nooooo..... we bonded :)
