Young Harold, not old!

Today I took the street cat/ homeless cat/stray cat, whatever you want to call him, into the vets. The cats protection paid for him to have an MOT and be castrated. So hopefully now he'll be a little less batter looking. The vet reckons he's between 5 and 7 yrs old. So not as old as we assumed. Obviously living rough and thinking with his testicles has paid a price on his looks.
I got Harold home this evening, and he's a little dopey, but OK. He ate loads of food and wanted lots of fuss. He has had the top of one of his ears cut off, bcz this is what the cats protection do to stray cats that have been neutured. I think I have been forgiven.
