Times Of My Life

Bloomin' Sorry

Many apologies for blipping blossom again so soon!  It has been so wet and windy that much of it has blown off the trees now, and their are flurries of pink and white petals chasing each other around the streets.

The church in the village has a huge cherry tree in the graveyard, which has dropped so much blossom that it looks like there have been a series of mass weddings!

As I passed under this beauty on the way to my car tonight I thought I'd better get one more snap before it all disappears for another year.

In other news; have lined up a hectic weekend of social whirling.  Going to meet an old pal on Friday for coffee, then at night me and my sister have been drafted in to act as the char-ladies for a charity thing Mum is doing.

On Saturday I'm meeting another friend for lunch/coffee (possibly wine), and on Sunday night I'm going out for a drink with my pal Jim, who makes his way up here once a year from Cheltenham for some good Scottish beer and a decent game of football!

In between I hope to landscape the garden, redecorate the whole house, train the dog to obey my every wish, organise a surprise birthday lunch for Mum, iron the entire pile of crumpled clothes which have lain unloved in the basket since September, and clear out the garage.

Setting myself unachievable targets? Me?
