King of the Castle

Finally made it back to singing tonight for the first time this term and I was immediately reminded why I love it and why I should go every week. It really does lift my spirits and fill my heart with joy! Plus the people are brilliant! Tuesdays are always better when it involves singing.

Tonight we sang this beautiful Maori song from the Cook Islands. The translated words are:
'I'm the King of the Castle, and you're the dirty rascal.'
It sounded amazing as we sang it and we all burst into spontaneous applause when we'd finished. We certainly ended the night on a high.
