Please let me love it

I finished "Elizabeth is Missing" I struggled with it a bit. It is abut a lady with alzheimer's and flicks from present to past and I at times found it hard to follow. I have struggled with the last few books I have read. I hope it is just my frame of the mind at the moment as I love reading. 
I have read a few pages  and so far I like the way it is written so I am hoping for the best.
