Wisteria Illustrated
Sunny and warm at last. - Blissful gardening day. Working in my pink and purple herbaceous border- weeding, edging and preparing to add annual colour to the existing plants which have made it through the winter. Always miraculous. Completely filled my new cold frame with hardy annuals, reorganised the greenhouse and made a tentative start on getting tender plants and pots out of there. Hopefully no frost tonight.
This wisteria is kept in a pot at the front if the house and for the first time in about ten years it doesn't look too happy. I knew its life span in there would be limited but I'm not brave enough to try to get it out and replant it. I grafted it myself whilst on a horticultural course and it has sentimental value to some extent. Perhaps I will try some cuttings before I risk a big move.
