Athletics Day

All the seven and under kids had their athletic races today at primary school. Disc (Frisbee) Throwing, Long Jump, High Jump (without the menacing pole), hurdles (about 12 inches above the ground), 50 yard dash, egg on spoon races (substitute golf ball for the egg), and fast walk relay race. Very fun to watch (as parent), but sometimes boring to wait for the next event to start (as student). And sun hats were mandatory even though the sun waited until after the races to shine.
