Arrival!

We were thinking we traveled up to the island “light” this time….until we unloaded all the stuff on our dock and H counted 24 “bags”!  Ha.   ( did like the colors and the striped dry dock.)    But heck, it’s calm, it’s DRY, and we had the golf cart to carry them up the hill.   Only the golf cart didn’t like not being used for 6 weeks and didn’t do the job.   Oh well.   More exercise.   It’s great to be here.   The water hawthorns in the pond in the extra photo are prolific  (but there’s not enough water in the pond)  Cleaned and filled all the bird feeders while H mowed the LONG grass.  And there wasn’t a drop of water in the bird bath… doesn’t bode well  —we need some rain!!
