Waikanae River Flooded!

It’s rained so heavy over night and all morning - the river burst its banks and stretched wide up to the back of our garden. This pic is taken looking over the back garden fence  - but no worries we are a good 2-3 meters higher and there is a vast expanse ahead for the water to move into as it approaches the sea.

Quite a spectacle!
